Triodle is a free daily word game. You don't need an account to play, and we don't ask for your name, email address or any other personal details.
What stays on your device
Your browser's local storage keeps today's game, your light or dark setting, whether you've seen the How to play screen, and a random game ID. This never leaves your device except as described below. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
What the game sends us
When you finish a day's game, your browser sends the date, how many guesses each word took, and the random game ID. If you rate the words, it sends the rating too. We use this only to see how hard each day's words were. It isn't linked to you: the ID is made by your browser and means nothing outside the game.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see roughly how people use the site, such as which pages are opened, the type of device and browser, and the approximate country or city. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your IP address to do this. Google processes this data as described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.
You can block it with your browser's privacy settings, a content blocker, or Google's opt-out add-on. The game works the same without it.
Hosting
Triodle runs on Cloudflare, which handles every request to the site and may keep short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep it running and secure.
What we don't do
We don't sell data, show ads, or use the data above for anything other than running and improving Triodle.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
